BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review laboratory results, and notify donors of unsuitable test results.

You will report to the Center Manager and work under the Center Physician for medical issues, complying with plasma industry regulations and BioLife/EHS guidelines at the Webster, TX center.

Qualifications

• LPN or LVN licensure in the state where duties are assigned.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Responsabilités

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, history, and testing processes.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical issues.
• Support vaccination programs for Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu for employees as applicable.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/EHS guidance.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and assist investigations.
