BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, monitor adverse events, review lab results, and notify donors of unsuitable findings, working under a Center Manager and Center Physician.

You must be a licensed LPN/LVN with CPR/AED and two years of clinical experience, and complete FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist. PT involvement may occur, with strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent plus graduate nursing program with state requirements.
• LPN/LVN license in the responsibility state.
• CPR and AED certification must be current.
• Minimum two years in clinical or hospital setting.
• Complete FDA-approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training.

Responsabilidades

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history, and screening tests.
• Evaluate donor reactions per SOPs and arrange medical care when needed.
• Refer complex cases to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents with EHS guidance and escalate as required.
