BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Medical Support Specialist in Bloomington, IN. You will determine donor eligibility, manage adverse events, review SPE/lab results, and notify donors of unsuitable results.

You will work under Center Manager guidance and Center Physician oversight for medical issues. Requires licensed medical staff with EMT/RN/LPN credentials, CPR/AED, IV therapy training, and at least two years in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Determine donor eligibility including medical history interview and informed consent.
• Review laboratory results and ensure donor safety per SOPs.
• Notify donors of unsuitable test results and document outcomes.
• Support vaccination programs for staff as applicable.

Responsabilités

• Assess donor suitability and manage informed consent and self-exclusion.
• Evaluate donor reactions and respond to emergencies per SOPs.
• Coordinate with Center Physician and Medical Affairs for medical questions.
• Assist with environmental, health and safety initiatives.
