Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Bloomington, IN seeks a Medical Support Specialist to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, review lab results, and manage donor safety under Center Manager guidance and Center Physician supervision.

Responsibilities include evaluating donor reactions, following medical SOPs, and coordinating with Medical Affairs for complex issues. Vaccination program support and EHS adherence are part of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; nursing program completion as applicable.
• Current EMT or RN/LPN/LVN licensure in the responsible state.
• CPR and AED certification current.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history.
• Evaluate donor reactions per SOPs and coordinate with Center Physician for medical issues.
• Refer concerning findings to Center Physician or Medical Affairs; support vaccination programs.

Skills

EMT-B/EMT-A

CPR/AED certified

RN/LPN/LVN licensed

Two years clinical setting

Education

State nursing license or equivalent
