BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Medical Support Specialist at our Pittsburgh plasma center. You will determine donor eligibility, monitor adverse events, review lab results, and notify donors of unsuitable findings under supervision.

You must hold EMT licenses and nursing licensure (RN/LPN), plus CPR/AED, with at least two years of clinical/hospital experience. You will support safety and regulatory compliance under leadership guidance.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P license in the applicable state.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.
• Licensed practical nurse (LPN/LVN) or registered nurse (RN) license required.

Responsabilités

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Provide center-level medical support and refer complex issues to Center Physician or Medical Affairs.
