Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda subsidiary, seeks a Medical Support Specialist at the Pittsburgh Braddock Ave plasma center. You will determine donor eligibility, monitor donor safety, review test results, and support center operations under the Center Manager and Center Physician.

Qualifications

• Must hold EMT-B licensing in the responsible state.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting required.
• CPR and AED certification mandatory.
• FDA approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and donor history.
• Evaluate donor reactions and medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and communicate outcomes to donors.
• Support environmental, health and safety (EHS) programs and center operations.
