Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a donor pheresis technician in Las Cruces, NM. You will collect plasma via pheresis, perform venipuncture, monitor the process, and ensure donor safety by following SOPs and FDA guidelines.

Responsibilities include donor setup, data recording in the donor information system, reacting to donor events, and maintaining a clean work environment. Prior phlebotomy experience strongly preferred, with CA requirements noted where applicable.

Qualifications

• External candidates must have a minimum of 6 months’ experience as a phlebotomist; one year preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CA centers require state-certified Phlebotomy Technician I or RN license.

Responsibilities

• Collect plasma from donors via pheresis and monitor the process.
• Perform venipuncture, donor setup, monitoring and disconnect.
• Follow SOPs and FDA guidelines to ensure donor safety and product quality.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information system.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and report any donor reactions.
