Job summary

Pratt Industries in Tennessee seeks a seasoned production supervisor to lead safety-conscious teams across production, planning and maintenance. The role emphasizes coaching, quality checks and adherence to OSHA and internal safety standards.

Responsible for directing daily operations, ensuring equipment reliability, and coordinating with logistics to align with production targets, all while maintaining a safe, compliant workplace.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of manufacturing/production supervisory experience.
• Understanding of planning and processes in a recycling environment and related safety issues.
• Ability to write reports and communicate effectively across levels.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the work of employees.
• Ensure equipment is operated in accordance with O&M manual.
• Check material (incoming and outgoing) for quality and conformity.
• Ensure housekeeping plan is implemented daily, weekly, monthly.
• Enforce safety rules and regulations.
• Ensure employees are trained on all mobile equipment.
• Maintain Safety and Health Monthly Training records.
• Manage material inventories and schedule trucks.
• Maintain commodity inventories and clean organization.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings.
• Develop and implement JSA’s for all job functions.
• Follow Pratt Safety Programs and OSHA guidelines.
