Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. seeks a Plant Supervisor to provide leadership across production, safety, shipping, planning, receiving and maintenance. The role emphasizes safety, quality and production understanding, with hands-on supervision.

Responsibilities include directing work, ensuring equipment adherence to O&M, supervising material flow, and maintaining safety and training programs for all plant staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of manufacturing/production supervisory experience.
• Understanding of planning in a recycling environment and health/safety implications.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the company.
• Ability to write reports and procedures manuals.
• Willing to travel and work nights/weekends when necessary.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Fluent in PC applications – Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the work of employees.
• Ensure equipment operates per O&M manual.
• Check incoming/outgoing material for quality.
• Maintain and implement daily/weekly/monthly housekeeping plan.
• Enforce safety rules and regulations.
• Train employees on all mobile equipment.
• Maintain Safety and Health Monthly Training records.
