Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years prior leadership experience.
• Prior work experience in the corrugated industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train and cross-train employees on machinery and processes.
• Ensure tools and materials are available for crews to accomplish tasks.
• Oversee crews and ensure reliability, dependability, and punctuality.
• Maintain cooperation and morale; ensure teamwork and confidentiality.
• Address questions, concerns, and problems expressed by the crew.
• Instruct crew on running efficiently; emphasize safety.
• Communicate performance feedback to crew members.
• Coordinate with supervisor and Maintenance Superintendent on repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Keep upper management informed of issues affecting department performance.
• Conduct weekly Production/Safety meetings with department staff.
• Coordinate with supervision to avoid shift-change issues.
• Encourage career skill development through seminars and related coursework.
• Implement, maintain, and support all company policies and safety programs.
• Additional duties may be assigned by management.
