Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee the safe and efficient operation of the facility during the assigned shift, monitoring boilers, turbine and steam plant, and directing personnel to ensure compliance with safety and environmental permits.

You will supervise daily, weekly and monthly checks, coordinate maintenance, and mentor a cross-trained team. Requires 5+ years in power or resource recovery plant operations and hands-on boiler experience with ASME licensing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in power or resource recovery plant operations.
• Hands-on experience with high-pressure boilers and electrical generation.
• ASME QRO Provisional & Site-Specific Operators license or ability to obtain.
• Knowledge of steam generating power stations and control systems; ability to write procedures.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and efficient facility operations during assigned shift.
• Direct maintenance and routine checks; coordinate emergency responses.
• Train and manage a cross-trained workforce to perform tasks safely.
• Ensure plant operates within environmental limits and permits.
