Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC operates a Waste to Energy facility and is seeking a Shift Supervisor responsible for guiding daily operations, ensuring safety and environmental compliance, and maintaining efficient energy generation during your shift.

You will supervise the Operations Department, monitor boilers and emissions, coordinate maintenance, train staff, and uphold all company policies while reporting to the Plant Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree desirable.
• 3–5 years in a power plant environment or 5+ years related experience.
• Ability to obtain ASME QRO Provisional license within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the WtE facility during shift.
• Monitor boilers, turbines, emissions, and residue handling systems.
• Enforce safe operation and compliance with procedures.
• Supervise operations team and coordinate maintenance and outages.
• Train staff in safety procedures and plant operations.
• Maintain logs, prepare reports, and participate in incident investigations.
