Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead the safe, efficient operation of our Fairfax, VA facility on a rotating 12‑hour shift. You will monitor boilers, turbine and steam plant, oversee field crews, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental permits.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in power or resource recovery plant ops, an HS diploma or GED, and hands-on boiler and electrical generation experience; an ASME QRO provisional license is required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; 5+ years in power or resource recovery plant operations.
• Engineering degree desirable; hands-on boiler and electrical generation experience required.
• Must obtain & maintain ASME QRO Provisional & Site-Specific Operators license.
• Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and safety/compliance skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and efficient plant operation during shift.
• Direct and coordinate activities of personnel; emergencies as needed.
• Approve removal of equipment from service and issue safety permits.
• Train and manage a motivated, cross-trained workforce.
