Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Madison, GA plywood facility to lead a Millwright team in inspecting critical equipment and prioritizing work to improve plant reliability. The role drives PM revisions, compliance, and the creation of Standard Maintenance Procedures as part of the mill management team.

The candidate will oversee on-call rotations, safety programs, and area management team meetings while coordinating with planners and superintendents to optimize down

Qualifications

• Three years or more experience with preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Experience with parts inventory management and controls.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System or SAP.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and approve work requests to determine if emergency response is needed or create a planned work order.
• Ensure resources for each planned and scheduled job and control execution and quality through completion.
• Ensure all work has a valid work order with required approvals.
• Promote safe work practices, housekeeping, and safety compliance in shop and job sites.
