Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor at the Madison, GA plywood facility. The role leads a Millwright team to inspect critical equipment, prioritize work, and ensure PM timelines and compliance. You’ll drive reliability and plant improvements within a safety-conscious culture.

The supervisor collaborates with Maintenance Manager and planners to schedule work, manage backlogs, and develop standard maintenance procedures, contributing to overall plant success and equipment uptime.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years or more experience with preventative and predictive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and approves work requests to determine emergency vs planned work.
• Ensures resources for planned work and maintains quality through completion.
• Ensures all work has valid work orders and approvals.
• Promotes housekeeping and safe work practices in shop/sites; leads safety meetings.
• Manages on-call rotation with Maintenance Manager and Millwrights.
• Ensures orderly conduct per company policies; participates in Area Management Team meetings.
• Defines equipment monitoring rounds and verifies completion, including safety checks.
