LHH is seeking a Bilingual Plant Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing and plant operations near Lake Zurich, IL. The role emphasizes bilingual English/Spanish communication to attract and hire production, warehouse, and skilled labor talent.

The position is contract with potential to hire, four days onsite and one day remote, with hourly pay of $30–$35 depending on experience. You will collaborate with plant leadership to maintain staffing levels and streamline onboarding

Qualifications

Bilingual Plant Recruiter

The Bilingual Plant Recruiter is responsible for managing full-cycle, high-volume recruitment for manufacturing and plant operations. This position focuses on sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates for production, warehouse, skilled labor, and other plant-based positions. The recruiter works closely with plant leadership and hiring managers to understand staffing needs, maintain adequate workforce levels, and provide a positive candidate and new-hire experience. This is a great opportunity located near Lake Zurich, IL.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for high-volume manufacturing, production, warehouse, and skilled labor positions.
• Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, community outreach, recruiting events, and other sourcing methods.
• Review applications and resumes to identify candidates who meet position qualifications and plant requirements.
• Conduct phone screens and interviews in both English and Spanish to evaluate candidates' experience, availability, skills, and overall qualifications.
• Coordinate interviews between qualified candidates and plant supervisors or hiring managers.
• Partner with plant leadership to identify current and upcoming staffing needs and establish recruiting priorities.
• Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates to support production demands and reduce staffing gaps.
• Communicate job duties, schedules, pay information, workplace expectations, and hiring requirements clearly to candidates.
• Prepare and extend job offers and coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screenings, and employment documentation as required.
• Assist new employees with onboarding, orientation, and completion of required new-hire paperwork.
• Provide bilingual support to Spanish-speaking candidates and employees throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
• Maintain accurate candidate information, interview notes, hiring statuses, and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system.
• Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process to provide updates and maintain candidate engagement.
• Build relationships with local workforce organizations, community groups, schools, and other recruiting resources to expand the candidate pipeline.
• Participate in job fairs, hiring events, open interviews, and other recruiting initiatives.
• Monitor hiring activity and communicate recruiting progress, staffing challenges, and candidate availability to plant management.
• Ensure recruiting and hiring practices comply with company policies and applicable employment laws.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling candidate, employee, and company information.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish is required, including the ability to communicate effectively with candidates and employees in both languages.
• Previous recruiting experience is preferred, particularly within manufacturing, production, warehouse, distribution, or light industrial environments.
• Experience managing high-volume recruiting and multiple open positions simultaneously is strongly preferred.
• Strong interviewing, sourcing, communication, and candidate relationship management skills are required.
• Ability to work effectively with plant leadership, supervisors, HR representatives, and employees at all levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment are required.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems, online job boards, and other recruiting technology is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, is preferred.
• Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail throughout the hiring process.
