Job summary

Amrize North America is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to lead daily plant operations, ensure safety, quality, and production targets, and supervise frontline staff.

You will perform QC tests per local standards, maintain equipment checks, and collaborate with maintenance to minimize downtime while upholding the union agreement. This role requires 3–5 years in supervision and a high school diploma, with a bachelor's preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent or 3 years of equivalent experience.
• Additional Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree.
• Required Work Experience: 3-5 years in a supervisory role; heavy industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities of plant employees and ensure safety, quality and production targets.
• Perform quality control tests for product lines according to local or national standards.
• Create weekly production schedules and coordinate with maintenance for equipment operations.
• Drive safety, housekeeping, and adherence to PPE requirements across the plant.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Production/Shipping to minimize downtime and stay within budget.
