Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to oversee daily plant operations in Franklin Farms Proj. LA, ensuring safety, quality and production targets are met.

You will lead a team, manage safety protocols, and coordinate with maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in a supervisory role, preferably in aggregates or heavy industry, with at least a high school diploma; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent or 3 years of equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of work experience with minimum 5 years in a supervisory role in aggregates/heavy industry preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for additional qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily plant activities to meet safety, quality and production targets.
• Direct the daily activities of employees in the plant.
• Ensure safety of employees with daily follow-up and safe operating practices.
• Lead housekeeping and waste reduction to maintain a clean production area.
• Create work orders and coordinate with maintenance.
• Monitor equipment operation and inspect for defects; document findings.
• Develop weekly production schedules to meet demand and budget.
• Collaborate with Maintenance for downtime planning and equipment readiness.
• Complete daily supervisor check sheets and report issues to management.
• Troubleshoot problems to minimise downtime and escalate as needed.
• Work with Production/Shipping to operate within budget and adhere to union agreements.
