Qualifikationen

• Two years working in a power plant environment as an APO or comparable position.
• Mechanical skills to perform tasks like replacement of shear pins, valve repacking, inspections.
• ASME QRO Provisional license required.
• Math skills to complete required functions.
• Knowledge of operation and control of a steam generating power plant.
• For all Massachusetts facilities, a 2nd Class Engineers license is required.

Aufgaben

• Monitor plant operational and emissions data.
• Detect and respond to conditions to maximize safety, compliance, and efficiency.
• Coordinate and train Assistant Utility Operator and other plant personnel.
• Perform equipment inspections during outages.
• Perform physical duties related to maintaining boilers and equipment.
• Maintain a positive work environment with customers and staff.
