Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a Plant Operator to maintain safe, environmentally compliant and efficient boiler operation, including combustion, steam flow, and optimization of generation and emissions. The role involves monitoring emissions data, coordinating with and training other operators, and performing outages inspections.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills for replacement of components and inspections.
• Math skills to complete required job functions.
• Knowledge of steam generating power plant operation.
• Massachusetts facility requires a 2nd Class Engineer license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant operational and emissions data.
• Respond to changing conditions to maximize safety, compliance, and efficiency.
• Direct and train Assistant Utility Operator and other plant staff as needed.
• Perform equipment inspections during outages and assist with boiler maintenance.
• Maintain a safe, environmentally compliant and productive boiler operation.
• May lead 2–5 employees and act as Shift Supervisor when needed.
