Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a Plant Operator to maintain safe, environmentally compliant and efficient boiler operation at our Massachusetts facility. You will monitor emissions, optimize generation, and lead auxiliary staff to ensure continuous, reliable power production.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, coordinating with operators, and training junior staff, while maintaining a strong safety culture and adherence to company policies and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a power plant as APO or 5 years related experience
• Mechanical skills for replacing shear pins, valve repacking, inspections
• ASME QRO Provisional license knowledge or pursuit
• Math skills to complete required functions
• Knowledge of operation and control of steam generating power plants

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant operational and emissions data.
• Respond to changes to maximize safety, environmental compliance, and efficiency.
• Coordinate and train Assistant Utility Operator, Utility Operator and others as required.
• Perform equipment inspections during outages.
• Assist with boiler and equipment maintenance as needed.
