Job summary

Dow has an exciting opportunity for an Operator in Orange, Texas within Sabine River Operations (SRO). You will utilize operations knowledge to proactively operate the plant in a safe, reliable, and optimal manner, working with shift team members to anticipate and resolve unplanned events and escalate issues as needed.

We look for candidates with a High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in an Operations role within a Chemical Manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work 12-hour shift schedules and overtime, including holidays and weekends.
• US work authorization; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate process equipment and monitor conditions to meet plant goals.
• Follow safety policies and participate in emergency response duties.
• Conduct shift relief and handoffs to ensure continuity.
• Identify process improvements and communicate them through proper channels.
• Maintain qualifications and training goals in a timely manner.
