Job summary

Dow Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an Operator in Orange, Texas within Sabine River Operations (SRO). In this role, you will operate plant equipment, monitor process conditions, and work with the shift team to maintain safe and efficient plant performance.

You will participate in emergency response training and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in a chemical manufacturing operations role (or 3+ years

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in an Operations role within a Chemical Manufacturing environment or 3+ years military experience in a related area.
• Ability to work 12-hour shift and overtime, including holidays/weekends.
• Valid US driver's license and legal eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate process equipment and monitor process conditions and control systems.
• Maintain safe, reliable, and efficient operation of assigned plant areas.
• Participate in Emergency Response Team (ERT) training and activities.
• Perform scheduled operations tasks and handle unplanned events as needed.
• Mentor and train operations personnel on process operation and troubleshooting.
