Job summary

Dow has an exciting Operator opportunity in Orange, Texas within Sabine River Operations (SRO). You will utilize operations knowledge to proactively operate the plant safely, reliably, and efficiently, coordinating with shift teams to anticipate and resolve unplanned events.

You will work with a team to maintain plant performance, escalate issues as needed, and participate in training to advance technical skills in a chemical manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in an Operations role within a Chemical Manufacturing environment.
• Eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship is available.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts including holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate process equipment and monitor process conditions and key metrics.
• Follow operating discipline to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
• Serve on site Emergency Response Team (ERT) and complete required training.
• Mentor and train operations personnel on process operation and troubleshooting.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled tasks arising from unplanned events.
