Job summary

Dow has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Operator in Orange, Texas within Sabine River Operations (SRO).

You will operate process equipment safely and reliably, monitor process conditions, and support the shift team to efficiently anticipate and resolve events while escalating when needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in chemical manufacturing or 3+ years military experience, and a valid US driver's license. 12-hour shifts and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years in an Operations role within a Chemical Manufacturing environment, or 3+ years military experience.
• Valid US Driver's License and ability to work legally in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Follow operating discipline policies to ensure safe and efficient plant operation.
• Operate process equipment, monitor conditions and control systems to meet plant goals.
• Serve on site Emergency Response Team and complete required trainings.
• Mentor and train other operators on process operation and troubleshooting.
• Perform both scheduled and unscheduled tasks during shift, including weather responses.
