Dow Inc. in Orange, Texas, is seeking an Operator to safely and reliably operate plant processes within Sabine River Operations (SRO). You will work with the shift team to anticipate and resolve unplanned events, escalate when needed, and maintain disciplined operating procedures.

The role emphasizes hands-on process knowledge, adherence to safety policies, and readiness to participate in emergency response while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in an Operations role within a chemical manufacturing environment or 3+ years of relevant military experience.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts and overtime, including holidays/weekends.
• Valid US driver’s license and legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Operate process equipment and monitor conditions to maintain safe, reliable plant performance.
• Respond as part of the onsite Emergency Response Team and complete required training.
• Coordinate shift relief and ensure clear handoffs to the next shift.
• Identify process improvements and support change management and tools.
• Maintain qualifications and complete training goals in a timely manner.
• Mentor and train operations staff on process operation and troubleshooting.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled tasks arising from unplanned events.
• Support rapid response to severe weather as assigned.
