Job summary

Accounting Search seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead a high‑volume plastics manufacturing site in Anderson, SC. You will direct Production, Maintenance, Tooling, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

The role requires guiding cross‑functional teams and driving Lean initiatives to optimize plant performance. You will also manage budgets, lead capital investments, and partner with supply chain, HR, and safety teams to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline (preferred).
• 5+ years of manufacturing operations leadership experience, preferably in blow‑molding, injection‑molding, plastics, and/or automotive manufacturing.
• Experience leading multiple operational functions (Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Tooling, Scheduling, Continuous Improvement).
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, OSHA/EPA regulatory requirements.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma/Kaizen and capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across Production, Scheduling, Maintenance, Tooling, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement.
• Optimize resource utilization to maximize performance and minimize downtime.
• Lead continuous improvement programs and drive cost reduction initiatives.
• Oversee capital projects from evaluation to commissioning and optimization.
• Ensure safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost targets are met.
