Job summary

Human Capital Ventures is recruiting an experienced Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations at its Anderson, South Carolina facility. You will oversee Production, Scheduling, Maintenance, Tooling, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement, driving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives.

The role requires leadership of cross-functional teams, Lean/Six Sigma expertise, and the ability to deliver measurable improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of manufacturing operations leadership experience.
• Experience in blow-molding, injection-molding plastics or automotive manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other CI methods.
• Strong financial acumen including budgets and cost control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and succession planning abilities.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across Production, Production Scheduling, Maintenance, Tooling, Engineering, Technical Resources, and Continuous Improvement.
• Optimize utilization of personnel, equipment, tooling, technology, materials, and capital resources.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other CI initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs, minimize downtime, and optimize processes.
• Partner with Engineering and Maintenance to improve equipment reliability and tooling performance.
• Lead capital projects from evaluation through commissioning and optimization.
• Establish and report key performance metrics and take corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, ISO, IATF).
• Manage departmental budgets and control labor, materials, maintenance, and capital costs.
• Collaborate with Materials, HR, Quality, and EHS; build relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Lead and develop cross-functional teams; foster accountability and continuous improvement culture.
• Support workforce planning, talent development, performance management, and succession planning.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on operational strategies aligned with business objectives.
