Job summary

KingRecruitingServices in Anderson, SC is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimize manufacturing operations at its Anderson, SC facility. You will oversee Production, Maintenance, Tooling, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement teams to deliver safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

The role requires a strong background in blow-molding/injection-molding/plastics and a track record of Lean/Six Sigma projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or related field.
• Five+ years of manufacturing operations leadership experience, preferably in blow-molding, injection-molding, plastics or automotive environments.
• Experience leading multiple operational functions including Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Tooling, Production Scheduling and Continuous Improvement.
• Strong knowledge of automotive and manufacturing quality-management systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across Production, Scheduling, Maintenance, Tooling, Engineering and Continuous Improvement.
• Optimize utilization of personnel, equipment, tooling, technology, materials, and capital resources.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and other continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs, minimize downtime and enhance quality.
• Lead capital projects from evaluation to installation and optimization of equipment and systems.
• Establish and report key performance metrics and take corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, ISO, IATF).
