Job summary

Legrand in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Plant Manager to direct production floor activities and lead a high‑performing team. You will ensure safety, quality, and cost goals align with customer expectations while providing clear leadership to supervisors and frontline staff.

The role drives Lean initiatives, process improvements, and cross‑functional collaboration to sustain growth in the Cabinets & Containment business, with a new state‑of‑the‑art facility supporting operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field; MBA a plus.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in manufacturing/production.
• Minimum 7 years plant management experience with supervision.
• SAP and ERP/MRP experience with Production/Inventory/Quality modules.
• Experience with lean tools and continuous improvement (LEAN, Six Sigma a plus).

Responsibilities

• Oversee production management, including manufacturing operations, inventory accuracy, facilities, and planning.
• Ensure safety, environmental, local, and federal compliance by plant leadership and employees.
• Lead shop floor teams in resolving quality, production, scheduling, technical, or personnel issues.
• Review processes to lower costs, improve productivity, labor utilization and quality.
• Develop metrics and reporting to track performance against budget and targets.
• Coordinate plant activities to meet customer expectations and budget objectives.
• Apply Lean manufacturing principles including 5S and material flow.
• Lead root cause analyses of defects and drive mistake-proofing initiatives.
