Job summary

Clayton Home Building Group in Vermont is seeking a General/ Plant Manager to lead production, distribution, safety, and cost performance across the facility. You will drive productivity through commercial, operational and financial excellence, while building a high‑performing team and delivering value for customers and shareholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or operations management or related field required.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in production management, with at least two in a manufacturing management position.
• Prior P&L and commercial responsibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide development of staff leaders to guide plant and support organizations.
• Work with customers, functional leaders, and internal staff to meet organizational requirements.
• Lead the establishment and attainment of plant goals in quality, cost, schedule, compliance and safety.
• Establish and maintain the plant(s) vision for success.
• Facilitate the leadership team in strategic decision‑making and problem‑solving.
• Coordinate business activities through planning with departmental managers to ensure objectives are accomplished.
• Establish and monitor overall performance for production and quality standards.
