Job summary

Ash Grove Cement, a CRH Company, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to schedule and supervise the maintenance crew, manage preventive maintenance and repair activities, and uphold strict safety standards across the plant. You will train staff, monitor performance, and ensure documentation is complete for compliance.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisory or maintenance experience in a similar facility, strong knowledge of plant equipment, blueprints, and regulatory requirements such as EPA

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 Year / Associate's Degree in a technical field or related area.
• A combination of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a diploma/degree.
• 3+ years of supervisory or maintenance experience in engineering or facility management.

Responsibilities

• Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
• Provide technical assistance in safe use of tools and equipment; train employees on procedures and safety.
• Schedule and coordinate daily preventive/predictive maintenance and mechanical repair activities.
• Inspect job sites to identify hazards and ensure a safe environment.
• Operate the computerized preventive maintenance system to prepare work orders and document activities.
• Collaborate with Purchasing Agent to ensure supplies are ordered or in stock.
• Coordinate and supervise contractor work for maintenance activities.
• Assist in preparing the budget for capital expenditures for maintenance projects.
