Job summary

Ash Grove Cement, a CRH Company, is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to coordinate mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance for kilns, mills, crushers, and conveying systems. You will supervise a team of about 18 mechanics and oversee both Opex and Capex projects with the Project Team.

Responsibilities include enforcing safety guidelines, scheduling activities, optimizing maintenance plans, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and preparing reports for management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in related maintenance functions with supervisory responsibilities.
• Bachelor's Degree in mechanical, electrical, or related field required.
• Knowledge of MSHA safety regulations and maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
• Schedule all mechanical activities and supervise repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Lead and manage a team of mechanics (approx. 18) and coordinate with Contractors.
• Review maintenance plans and coordinate with the Project Team on Opex/Capex projects.
• Prepare reports on maintenance projects and ensure compliance with MSHA rules.
