Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking a Plant Maintenance Supervisor onsite in North East, MD to lead maintenance teams across all plant equipment, utilities, and powerhouse. You will drive preventive maintenance, reduce downtime, and maximize production efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2+ years of experience, with strong leadership, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Ammonia refrigeration and PLC knowledge are a plus; relocation may be offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience leading training, coaching, or mentoring staff.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Plan maintenance scheduling with Production and develop TPM/SOPs.
• Monitor KPIs and report maintenance performance to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with USDA regulations and maintain records.
