Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance teams across the plant, facilities, utilities, and powerhouse. You will drive preventive and predictive maintenance to keep production lines running at peak efficiency.

You will plan maintenance with Production, monitor KPIs, ensure USDA compliance, mentor staff, and foster a safe, collaborative environment. This role requires strong leadership and hands-on technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading training, coaching, or mentoring staff.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting for high‑level process issues.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; ability to work long hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in predictive and preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Plan and schedule maintenance with Production; support TPM and SOP efforts.
• Develop KPIs and provide status reports to maintenance management.
• Ensure maintenance tasks comply with USDA regulations and maintain records.
