Job summary

Smithfield Foods is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance teams across plant operations. You will manage preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment reliability to maximize production efficiency.

You will collaborate with Production to schedule work and implement TPM, SOPs, and safety standards. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 2+ years of related experience, with strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field plus 2+ years of experience.
• Experience leading Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience with USDA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Schedule maintenance in collaboration with Production.
• Develop TPM, SOPs, and safety procedures.
• Monitor KPIs and provide status reports.
• Ensure compliance with USDA regulations.
• Mentor and coach maintenance staff.
