Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance teams across plant facilities, utilities, and the powerhouse. You will oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, and maintenance planning to maximize production efficiency.

We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills who can ensure compliance and maintain high equipment reliability in a fast-paced environment. Relocation may be provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Experience leading maintenance teams and mentoring staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in predictive and preventive maintenance, and machine repairs.
• Plan and schedule maintenance with Production to minimize downtime.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for maintenance performance and report to management.
• Ensure maintenance tasks comply with USDA regulations and maintain records.
