Smithfield Foods is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Virginia to lead maintenance mechanics and electricians across plant operations. You’ll oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and drive TPM and SOP implementations to maximize up-time and production efficiency.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 2+ years of experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Relocation is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Experience leading training or mentoring staff
• Ability to lead problem solving for high-level process issues
• Strong written and verbal communication; proficient with MS Office

Responsabilités

• Lead teams of Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in predictive and preventative maintenance and repairs
• Train employees on proper work methods and safety procedures
• Develop maintenance plans and schedules with Production
• Create and monitor KPIs for maintenance performance
• Ensure compliance with USDA regulations and maintain records
• Manage crises and delegate tasks when key personnel are absent
