Job summary

Responsibilities include safety leadership, planning shutdowns, coordinating with planners and vendors, and ensuring compliance with MSHA and EPA regulations. A strong engineering background and people leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of cement manufacturing experience with management responsibilities.
• Strong reading/writing/listening in English; able to lead and prioritize work.

Responsibilities

• Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
• Set goals and performance standards for Maintenance Department.
• Coordinate with other departments on maintenance priorities.
• Plan, schedule and supervise maintenance repairs and preventive activities.
• Develop and execute shutdown schedules and post-shutdown critiques.
• Oversee all maintenance department activities and personnel.
• Evaluate performance and merit increases or promotions.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance work.
• Ensure compliance with MSHA and EPA regulations.
• Assist in annual budgeting and capital project documentation.
