Ash Grove Cement, a CRH company, seeks a Maintenance Superintendent to coordinate and supervise all mechanical repairs and maintenance activities for kilns, mills, crushers, and conveyors. You will oversee 18 mechanics and lead safety and project execution across the plant.

Role requires a 4-year degree in mechanical/electrical engineering and 7+ years in maintenance with supervisory duties, plus MSHA knowledge. Expect 24/7 maintenance support and collaboration with project teams.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
• Minimum 7 years of maintenance experience with supervisory responsibilities in a cement or related industry preferred.
• Ability to analyze facts and exercise sound judgment.
• Ability to lead, direct, and manage organizations, programs, and people.
• Knowledge of MSHA safety regulations.
• Knowledge of maintenance techniques for industrial equipment and cement production equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret drawings.

Responsabilités

• Promote and follow plant safety guidelines.
• Define job responsibilities, goals, and performance standards for Maintenance Department.
• Evaluate performance and recommend merit increases and promotions.
• Coordinate maintenance projects and report progress to management.
• Schedule all mechanical activities and supervise repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance equipment and parts.
• Develop and monitor maintenance budgets and training for staff.
