Job summary

Ash Grove Cement Company is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to coordinate and supervise all mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance for kilns, mills, crushers, and conveying systems. The role oversees 18 mechanics and drives safety and reliability across the plant in Texas.

Responsibilities include scheduling mechanical activities, assigning duties, evaluating performance, coordinating with project teams, managing contractors, and reporting progress to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or a closely related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience with supervisory responsibilities in maintenance in cement or related industry preferred.
• Knowledge of MSHA safety regulations and plant equipment is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
• Establishes and assigns job responsibilities, goals, and performance standards for Maintenance Department.
• Oversee mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance schedules for kilns, mills, conveyors, and heavy equipment.
• Coordinate with Project Team on maintenance projects (Opex/Capex) and supervise contractors as needed.
• Prepare reports on maintenance projects and ensure compliance with MSHA rules.
