Job summary

Sharon Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking a Plant Manager in Niles, OH to lead overall plant operations and drive safety, lean manufacturing, productivity and cost initiatives.

You will collaborate with HR, Safety, Finance, Sales and Maintenance to ensure safe, efficient and high‑quality manufacturing while improving yields and output. This is a full‑time, onsite role centered in Niles, OH.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years leading manufacturing operations or equivalent.
• Experience building high-performing teams with safety, quality and cost focus.
• Working knowledge of ISO standards and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, compliant operations and drive safety culture.
• Develop monthly operating plans and identify risks, opportunities, and improvements.
• Build a performance-based culture with accountability and metrics.
• Provide clear direction and cross-functional alignment with HR, Safety, Finance, Sales and Maintenance.
• Review daily reports to resolve issues, reduce costs and prevent delays.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead lean initiatives and optimize production systems and processes.
• Hire, coach, and develop employees to sustain high morale and strong labour relations.
• Delegate effectively while upholding safety, quality and company procedures.
