Job summary

Wheatland Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, seeks a Plant Manager to lead overall Warren, OH operations, driving safety, lean manufacturing, quality, and cost initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with HR, Safety, Finance, Sales, and Maintenance, implement production policies, and hire and develop talent to ensure strong leadership and high morale across all plant departments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a technical field preferred.
• Strong labor relations experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of ISO standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Leads and promotes safe work practices in compliance with regulatory requirements and company safety policies.
• Develops and executes operating plans for current and upcoming months, identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
• Builds a performance-based culture focused on accountability, safety, metrics, and operational excellence.
• Provides clear direction and communicates with corporate goals across plant departments.
• Leads lean initiatives to optimize resources and improve production systems and processes.
