Job summary

Forvia is seeking an HR Manager to support the Fort Wayne facility, handling recruitment, employee relations, payroll, and HRIS administration. You will partner with cross-functional teams to align HR practices with business objectives and ensure legal compliance.

The role requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s in HR and a minimum of five years in HR within a manufacturing setting, with willingness to work off shifts as needed and to lead People and Salary Review processes.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources.
• 5+ years of HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment supporting hourly and salaried populations.
• Experience with payroll systems (SuccessFactors, GlobalView, eTime).

Responsibilities

• Align HR strategies with plant objectives including talent acquisition, performance management, and learning & development.
• Manage industrial relations and labor relations with local representatives.
• Oversee payroll and HR administration processes and HRIS data integrity.
• Support wage and salary review processes and policy implementation.
• Provide guidance to management on employment law and compliance.
