Job summary

Forvia in the United States is seeking an HR Business Partner to provide hands-on HR support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will partner with plant leadership to deliver employee relations, onboarding, training, and workforce processes.

You will maintain HR records and collaborate on performance management, compensation, and labor relations where applicable. This role requires strong communication, discretion, and the ability to drive HR initiatives across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in HR or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 2–5 years HR experience in manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Generalist experience across HR functions including employee relations, administration, onboarding, training and performance management.
• Knowledge of applicable employment laws and HR compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support to plant employees and supervisors, guiding on HR policies and processes.
• Address employee relations concerns, investigations, corrective actions, and policy interpretation.
• Coordinate onboarding and deliver new hire orientation.
• Maintain HR records and HR systems; manage workforce data and reporting.
• Support attendance, leave, disability and other HR processes.
• Coordinate plant training activities and maintain training records.
• Assist with performance management processes and annual reviews.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and plant events.
• Assist with headcount planning in coordination with plant leadership.
• Support compensation and bonus processes as required.
• Participate in audits and ensure HR documentation is compliant.
