Job summary

4over is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to act as a hands-on HR partner at the plant level in Dayton, Ohio. You will support the full employee lifecycle across the facility, collaborating with Corporate HR on broader people initiatives and ensuring compliance with regulations.

You'll partner with the recruiter on hiring, manage employee relations, coach leaders on performance, and administer HRIS and payroll-related duties for hourly staff.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of HR practices including employee relations, performance management, compliance, and employment law.
• Experience in managing workplace investigations and employee concerns with objectivity.
• Experience supporting hourly employees and front-line leadership in a plant/manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted HR partner to plant leadership and employees on relations, performance, policies, and workforce matters.
• Support hiring with the company recruiter, including interviews and onboarding.
• Manage investigations, documentation, corrective actions, and escalation to Corporate HR.
• Coach leaders on performance management, feedback, and people practices.
• Apply applicable employment laws and company policies to daily HR activities.
