Job summary

Vinylmax in Hamilton, Ohio seeks a Plant Human Resources Generalist to oversee recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and employee training at our manufacturing facility. The role focuses on day-to-day HR operations, staffing production, ensuring payroll accuracy, and delivering hands-on training on the plant floor.

You will work closely with plant leadership to ensure compliance, efficiency, and workforce development, administering benefits and maintaining HR records while supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3-5 years HR experience in manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience with payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Experience delivering on-the-floor training in production environments.
• Knowledge of federal and Ohio employment laws and wage/hour.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle recruitment for hourly manufacturing positions.
• Coordinate pre-employment requirements such as background checks and onboarding.
• Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding paperwork.
• Deliver new hire and ongoing training on the production floor.
• Coordinate compliance training (OSHA, safety, quality standards).
• Maintain training records and certification documentation.
• Process weekly or biweekly payroll and maintain payroll accuracy.
• Administer benefits enrollments, changes, terminations.
• Maintain HRIS records and personnel files.
• Track HR metrics like time-to-fill, turnover, attendance.
