Job summary

PFI - Butler in Hazelwood, Missouri seeks an experienced Plant General Manager to lead the manufacturing operation, owning safety, quality, production, delivery, productivity, cost, inventory, and employee development.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who can develop supervisors and managers, drive continuous improvement, and build an accountable leadership team across the plant, with 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership and a preference for high-mix or

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience; 10+ years preferred.
• Experience leading manufacturing operations with responsibility for safety, quality, production, delivery, productivity, and cost.
• Experience leading hourly and salaried employees in a production environment.
• Strong financial, analytical, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Manufacturing background strongly preferred, especially custom, job-shop, high-mix, or engineered-to-order environments.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Business, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall plant operations and operating performance.
• Drive safety, quality, on-time delivery, productivity, cost, and continuous improvement.
• Lead production scheduling, capacity planning, materials, maintenance, and customer delivery commitments.
• Build accountability and develop a strong plant leadership team.
• Manage plant financial performance, operating costs, inventory, and capital improvement initiatives.
