Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years’ experience leading operations in a multi-shift production facility.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Strong business acumen (P&L, strategic planning, resource allocation).
• Knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, inventory and stewardship processes.
• Computer literacy including MS Office (Excel) and ERP/MRP experience.
• Ability to create accountability and lead by example.
• Union relations / UAW experience preferred.
• Experience with Plex Systems ERP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize operational goals and objectives; manage projects to meet goals and deadlines.
• Complete annual performance appraisals for direct reports and plan development actions.
• Recruit/hire employees to execute functions in the responsible area.
• Mentor team members and identify future leaders for development.
• Interface with customers to resolve issues and communicate plans.
• Establish goals and drive improvement of KPIs and performance measures.
• Write and/or present memos, letters, emails, reports and presentations.
• Communicate clearly and professionally in writing and speech.
