Job summary

Arrowhead Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced plant operations leader to direct and optimize manufacturing plant activities, ensuring on-time, high-quality production while maintaining safety and cost discipline.

The role oversees production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain interfaces; drives safety programs, budget management, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement through lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive management experience in a manufacturing or assembly plant.
• General manufacturing background required; heavy equipment or transportation equipment manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily plant operations and cross-department coordination.
• Enforces OSHA-compliant EHS program and safety audits.
• Ensures finished goods meet specifications and manages inventory.
• Manages plant budgets, KPIs, and reports to leadership.
• Leads continuous improvement initiatives and capital projects.

Job description

Directs, manages, and optimizes all facility operations to ensure high-quality products are manufactured on time, safely, and cost-effectively. Responsible for leading facility personnel, maintaining budget discipline, driving operational efficiency, and fostering a safe, continuous-improvement environment.

• Operational Leadership: Oversees daily plant operations and coordinates cross-departmental activities (Production, Quality, Maintenance) to maximize throughput, efficiency, and delivery performance.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforces a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) program. Ensures continuous OSHA compliance, routine safety audits, employee training, and zero-harm workplace standards.
• Quality & Inventory Control: Ensures finished goods conform strictly to specifications. Monitors inventory levels to support production requirements without overstocking material.
• Financial Management: Manages plant operating budgets, controls manufacturing costs, tracks monthly KPIs, and delivers regular performance reports to executive leadership.
• Continuous Improvement: Proposes and executes capital projects, lean initiatives, and process changes to improve plant profitability and quality.

Education & Experience

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Split between a standard office setting and an active manufacturing floor.
